ON TRACY LANE  Bio

After being based in 3 cities, 3 EPs, 4 music videos, opening for national acts, their music licensed to several TV shows, close to 3 million plays and views on MySpace and closing in on 200,000 friends, featured in Radio & Records trade magazine, recently touring in Greenland to play for the US troops, etc....On Tracy Lane has finally arrived. OTL has released their debut full-length CD entitled "Are We Rich Yet?". Released Nov. 17, 2009, the single is "Snowballs in LA".

Originating in Los Angeles in 2003, OTL did a music video in 2004 with Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Party of Five) to get the wheels turning. After many shows on the West Coast, the band relocated to St. Louis, MO in 2005 and released The OTL EP. This release was the music and marketing that would lead to OTL being one of the biggest acts on MySpace. The band played all over the Midwest, opening for many national acts including Avril Lavigne and Butch Walker.

In 2007, OTL shifted its headquarters to the music capital of the world, Nashville, TN. Mike Puwal, producer for Insane Clown Posse, produced their new OTL EP entitled, “Pretend the Thing with Charlie Never Happened.” Lead singer and songwriter Darryn Yates talks about the move to Nashville. "This is the band I've always envisioned for OTL. The move to Nashville allowed us to find the members of the team that I believe will take this band far. We are all very excited." In December 2008, the band received the opportunity to play overseas for the troops in Greenland. More overseas trips are in the works.

In 2009, On Tracy Lane was signed by Octave Match Records. Unfortunately, OTL parted ways with OMR in April of 2010. On Tracy Lane is currently looking for the right booking agent, label, and manager to come along. They will remain very selective as they play shows all over the Midwest region. Showcases in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Austin, etc. are in the works. Their single, "Snowballs in LA", is the most requested song at WSIA 88.9 FM in Staten Island, NY. Stay Tuned as OTL keeps charging ahead. Are you On Tracy Lane yet?
